Change in management at iTernity: Continuity and innovation under new leadership

After more than 10 years as CEO, Ralf Steinemann is handing over the leadership of iTernity to Armin Weißer, who has been part of the company's management team since 2016. Weißer, with over 20 years of experience in the IT industry, takes on the responsibility with clear goals: to continue iTernity's 20-year success story and set new standards. Under his leadership, iTernity aims to strengthen and expand its market position with the Software-Defined Archiving solutions iCAS and iCAS FS, with a focus on long-term value creation for customers and partners.

iTernity is among the TOP 100

iTernity again convinced the jury of its innovative strength in 2023 and was awarded the TOP 100 seal for the fifth time. This award is only given to particularly innovative medium-sized companies.

 

The requirement for participation in the coveted business competition is to go through a scientific selection process. The innovation researcher Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke from the Vienna University of Economics and his team examined iTernity based on more than 100 criteria from five categories: Innovative top management, innovation climate, innovative processes and organization, external orientation/open innovation, and innovation success.

Suse Enterprise Storage End-of-Life - what next?

The end is near. This is at least true for the further development of SUSE Enterprise Storage, or SES for short. The Ceph-based storage cluster has been taken out of the portfolio by SUSE.
